Abstract: A bibliographic database containing studies on recurrence plots and related methods is analyzed from various perspectives. This allows a detailed view of the field’s development, showcasing the continuous growth in the method’s popularity, as well as the emergence, decline, and dynamics of topical subjects over time. Furthermore, the analysis unveils the activity and impact of the different groups, shedding light on their collaborative efforts and contributions to the field.
