This paper addresses Region-3 control of a 2.5 MW three-bladed HAWT using a data-driven workflow that links empirical modeling to implementable pitch control. To focus on fundamental regulation dynamics, the turbine is modeled as a rigid single-mass drivetrain driven by identified quasi-steady aerodynamics.
